How To Use RedGage To Get Free PR4 Backlinks and Earn Money Online

One of the keys at the heart of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the backlink. Basically put, a "backlink" is a hyperlink from an external website that points to a page on your website. There are different levels quality when it comes to backlinks, and one of the key factors is the PageRank (PR) of the site where the link is located. Page Rank is a numeric value between 1 and 10 that is assigned by Google, with 10 being the best possible Page Rank. Google assigns more "weight" in its listing algorithms to sites with higher Page Ranks, so the higher ranked the page you backlink from, the better your chances of being listed at or near the top of Google search page results.

RedGage is a content platform and social networking-based site all in one. It allows users to create free accounts and post blogs, video, documents, links and images. RedGage posts ads on the pages that users create, and they share the revenue that those ads generate with the users. For each unique page impression, RedGage pays a tiny bit of money to the user who posted the content. As the impressions grow, so do those little sums of money. Since RedGage takes care of the advertising end, users don't need to have a Google AdSense account to earn money from their content.

The site uses a flash-based interface that's pretty intuitive, and the user community is friendly and helpful. Getting backlinks as as simple as uploading a link to your hub, blog or other website. You'll be able to give each link a title, description and several one-word tags. When Google's web spiders crawl across the RedGage site, your link will be indexed automatically. The same goes for any blog entries, images, video or documents that you post there.

You can share the links that you post, as well as any other content, easily from right within the RedGage interface. The site is integrated with FaceBook, FriendFeed and Twitter. You can also import content from Blogger, WordPress, Flickr, FaceBook and YouTube.

Every time you post content to the site, all of the folks on your friends list will see a notification on their Dashboard, and another notification will also be posted on the site's homepage. Every time someone visits your content, you earn a fraction of a cent. As page views increase, these fractions of cents add up. By viewing your Account page, you can see what your earnings per thousand impressions is. It will be different for every user, and even different for each type of content - as of this writing, by percentage is about 70 cents per 1,000 page views.

Since RedGage takes care of all the advertising, you don't need a Google AdSense account to make money. Once you've reached $25, you can begin making withdrawals from your account. Payment is in the form of a pre-paid Visa debit card, and withdrawals are in increments of $25. Since RedGage uses these pre-paid debit cards for payments, non-US residents can also earn money with the site, and the cards can be used wherever Visa cards are accepted.

RedGage also runs a Daily Contest that pays a single winner every day. The prize is $25 towards the user's account. The contest works like a raffle, and a user can earn "tickets" to the raffle by recommending new users with a referral link (20 tickets), by providing a link to RedGage on an external site (10 tickets), or by posting videos, documents or blog entries (2 tickets).

To earn tickets for signing up a new member, the new member must use your screen name when they sign up, or register by clicking on a referral link that is tied to your account.

In order to earn points for a link to RedGage, users have to fill out a form that indicates where the link is located, and a staff member at RedGage will verify the presence of the link. Prizes are awarded every day at midnight. Each link must be made by you, and can only be submitted once. There is a limit of 3 link submission forms per domain per day.

RedGage also awards members with Featured Content Bonuses. These bonuses range from under $1.00 to over $5.00, and the amount is based on a proprietary formula. The features are selected by site moderators and are featured on the site's homepage.
